Erin McDonald (they/them) is a cultural strategist, accredited personal property appraiser, consultant, and certified communicator based in Edmonton, Alberta. Erin holds the position of Curator for the Alberta Craft Council. With over 20 years of experience in the arts, heritage, and municipal sectors, Erin specializes in strategic planning, public engagement, and investment frameworks that prioritize equity, access, and community impact. They hold a Master of Cultural Heritage from Deakin University and an MBA from the Australian Institute of Business. Erin is an accredited Canadian Personal Property Appraiser (CPPAO) and a Member (Candidate) of the International Society of Appraisers. Erin is also an award-winning leader, recognized as one of Edmonton’s Top 40 Under 40, and the founder of EMC³ Consulting, supporting cultural organizations, municipalities, and creative entrepreneurs in turning values into action.
EMC³ Consulting provides accredited personal property appraisal and cultural advisory services. Led by Erin McDonald, an MBA-trained cultural strategist and certified appraiser, the firm supports collectors, families, estates, and organizations in understanding the value and stewardship of art, antiques, and cultural assets.
